Orlando (Fla.) Jones High School’s three-star quarterback Dereon Coleman was among the participants. The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder is one of the nation’s top arms. He committed to Miami on July 3, 2024, choosing the Hurricanes over numerous offers from programs across the country.
As a junior, Coleman delivered an impressive season, completing 73% of his passes for 3,449 yards and 29 touchdowns. He led Jones to its first-ever undefeated regular season and helped the team finish as state runner-up.
