When does Newcastle United’s trophy parade start at St James’ Park?

The Magpies will celebrate their Carabao Cup win with an open-top bus parade.

Newcastle United fans will have the chance to celebrate their Carabao Cup triumph with the players this weekend as the team parades the trophy through Tyneside.

After nearly two weeks away due to international duties and a training camp in Dubai, the Magpies are set to return for a grand celebration. The festivities will begin on Saturday with a major event at the city’s Town Moor.

Before the main event, the players and coaching staff will take part in an open-top bus parade through Newcastle. Fans can line the streets to cheer for their heroes and catch a glimpse of the coveted trophy. The parade will depart from St James’ Park at around 4:30 p.m., passing the STACK and moving along Percy Street in the city center.

The route will continue through Haymarket before heading down the Great North Road (B1318) toward the Town Moor, where the celebrations are expected to start at approximately 5:00 p.m.

Newcastle United has advised supporters to plan their travel accordingly and use public transport where possible. Road closures will be in effect on Saturday, March 29, affecting Barrack Road (from St. James’ Park to Gallowgate), Gallowgate, Percy Street, B1318, and Great North Road.
