Crystal Palace are among several Premier League clubs eyeing a summer move for Udinese striker Lorenzo Lucca, according to journalist Graeme Bailey. The Eagles, along with Everton and West Ham, have reportedly expressed interest in the 24-year-old, who is keen on a switch from Serie A after this season.
Palace are expected to reinforce their attack, with Jean-Philippe Mateta’s future uncertain amid interest from top-flight clubs. The French forward has been in fine form, netting 15 goals and providing three assists in 34 appearances across all competitions.
According to Bailey, Palace scouts recently assessed Lucca and identified him as a potential signing. The towering 6ft 7in striker, regarded as one of Italy’s most sought-after forwards, offers a strong aerial presence and physicality that could suit the Premier League.
Udinese are reportedly open to selling Lucca for around £29m, with the player under contract until June 2028.
Meanwhile, Palace could see further departures this summer, with Marc Guehi also attracting interest as he enters the final year of his contract, with Tottenham among his suitors.
Currently sitting 12th in the league with 10 games left, Palace next face Brighton at home on Saturday.
