USA Pickleball Announces San Diego as Host for 2025 National Championships

USA Pickleball has announced that the 2025 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships will be held at Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, California, from November 15-23.

USA Pickleball CEO Mike Nealy expressed excitement about the event, calling it the pinnacle tournament in pickleball and emphasizing the high level of competition. He also highlighted the unique atmosphere at Barnes Tennis Center, which will serve as an exceptional venue for both players and fans.

Barnes Tennis Center is conveniently located just five miles from San Diego International Airport and is close to the city’s top attractions, such as Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, and SeaWorld. San Diego’s reputation as a top dining destination will also enhance the overall experience for attendees.

Barnes Tennis Center COO Jesse Steinberg looks forward to welcoming the event to the city, stating that it will allow San Diego to shine as a premier pickleball destination. The 2025 tournament is expected to build on the success of the 2024 event, which brought in over 2,600 athletes and generated significant economic impact.

The event will also include community initiatives through USA Pickleball’s charitable arm, USA Pickleball Serves. Fans can watch the tournament live on QVC+ and HSN+, which will be the exclusive streaming platforms for the event.
