Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap has caught attention with 12 goals in 30 Premier League appearances this season.
Initially valued at £40m, it’s now been revealed that a relegation clause could make him available for £30m — a figure that’s attracting interest as Ipswich edge closer to the drop.
West Ham, in search of a new striker, recently saw their bid for Porto’s Samu Omorodion fall short of the €80m asking price. With that move stalling, Delap’s lower fee could make him a more appealing target.
While free agent Jonathan David remains an option, Delap is firmly on West Ham’s radar and could rise on their shortlist following the Omorodion setback.
