Cristian Romero commits a costly error in defense as Wolves quickly regain their two-goal advantage.
Wolves established a strong lead in the first half with two goals — one from Rayan Ait-Nouri, who has been linked with Tottenham, and another coming from a Djed Spence own goal.
Tottenham responded early in the second half as Tel converted from close range to reduce the deficit to 2-1. However, Wolves struck back almost instantly.
A defensive blunder from Spurs vice-captain Cristian Romero allowed Ait-Nouri to steal possession. He then set up Strand Larsen, who slotted in an easy tap-in to restore Wolves’ two-goal cushion at 3-1.
