Marco Silva is urging his Fulham squad to embrace the final stretch of the Premier League season.
Despite suffering two consecutive defeats, Fulham sit ninth in the table, just one point behind eighth-placed Bournemouth, and remain in the hunt for European qualification. Silva confirmed he’s energized by the challenge, saying, “If you want to be successful, you work for these moments. You want to reach the end of the season with something to fight for.”
Silva added that Fulham’s goal from day one has been a top-half finish, and that hasn’t changed. With five games to go, he believes the team is in a strong position to push for more and must seize the opportunity.
Next up for Fulham is a trip to Southampton, who have already been relegated. While Fulham were held to a goalless draw in the reverse fixture, Silva expects a similar tactical setup from the Saints, led again by interim manager Simon Rusk. However, Silva made it clear that Fulham’s strategy and focus will remain unchanged.
