West Ham have yet to receive any bids or inquiries for winger Mohammed Kudus, according to sources within the club.
Recently, Kudus was linked with a potential €100m move to Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr. The club was said to be targeting the Hammers attacker as part of their summer transfer plans, alongside other targets like Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma.
Al-Nassr, currently third in the Saudi Pro League, boasts an attacking lineup featuring Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané, and Jhon Durán. Given their financial strength, a substantial offer for Kudus would be welcomed by West Ham, especially with plans for a summer rebuild.
However, a senior source at the London Stadium stated, “We’ve heard nothing” regarding offers. Kudus has a buyout clause in his contract, which is reportedly higher for Saudi clubs, around £120m. While Al-Nassr is believed to be interested in securing the Ghanaian for a lower fee, no offer has been made yet.
Interest from Saudi Arabia may work in West Ham’s favor, particularly as English Premier League clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea continue to monitor the situation. However, these clubs are unlikely to meet the full £85m release clause, making a potential offer from Saudi Arabia the best opportunity to secure a significant transfer fee.
