A North Staffordshire curry house has become a popular spot for sports stars, with another celebrity spotted dining there. Banarasi, located on London Road in Newcastle-under-Lyme, has already hosted England cricketer Danni Wyatt-Hodge and boxer Nathan Heaney.
This time, former Stoke City striker Chris Iwelumo joined the list of notable guests. The venue shared a social media post, expressing their pleasure in having Iwelumo dine with them. “Locals will remember him as a Stoke City player and now as a presenter on talkSPORT,” they wrote. Banarasi is quickly gaining a reputation as the go-to dining spot in Newcastle.
