Fulham Under-21s captain Matt Dibley-Dias has challenged his teammates to finish their impressive season on a high by securing PL2 silverware.
As they prepare to kick off their play-off campaign against Nottingham Forest at Motspur Park on Monday, Dibley-Dias admitted there’s still frustration from last season’s early exit and their recent Premier League International Cup loss to Olympique Lyonnais.
Speaking to the club’s official website, he said:
“We went out of the play-offs early last year, so we definitely want to bounce back. Forest beat us earlier this season too, so we want a reaction. Hopefully we can go all the way.”
He added:
“We’ve been really good this season. We want to finish strong and win some silverware — something we can look back on and say, ‘yeah, we did something good.’ Hopefully we can keep it going.”
