Oliver Glasner is being tipped to turn down RB Leipzig this summer — with Tottenham seen as a more likely destination.
According to Klaus Roitinger, Glasner’s first coach and close friend, the Crystal Palace boss is unlikely to return to Germany despite interest from Leipzig. Speaking to *Sport.ORF*, Roitinger believes Spurs could swoop in, especially with Ange Postecoglou’s future uncertain.
Glasner’s stock has soared this season after transforming Crystal Palace’s fortunes. He’s guided them to mid-table safety and an FA Cup final, all while playing an exciting brand of football. Stars like Mateta, Eze, and Wharton have flourished under his attack-minded approach.
Roitinger praised Glasner’s leadership and ability to connect with players, saying his impact leaves a lasting legacy at every club. He pointed out that Glasner has never had a dip in his coaching career and doubts he would take the Leipzig job.
Instead, he predicts a move to North London:
**“I honestly can’t imagine that he’s going to Leipzig. I rather appreciate he will land at Tottenham.”**
