Crystal Palace remain interested in signing Tiago Djalo.

Crystal Palace are reportedly planning a summer move for 25-year-old Portuguese defender Tiago Djalo from Juventus.

Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing Tiago Djalo as they look to strengthen their defence this summer. According to Portuguese outlet Mais Futebol, the Eagles have identified the 25-year-old Juventus centre-back—who spent the season on loan at FC Porto—as a potential target.

Djalo has struggled to find consistency in recent years. After coming through the youth systems at Sporting CP and AC Milan, he rose to prominence at Lille before earning a move to Juventus in January 2024. However, he failed to establish himself in Turin and was loaned out to FC Porto, where he played fewer than 1,500 minutes across 17 appearances in all competitions.

With his loan at Porto now over, Djalo is set to return to Juventus—but a move to the Premier League may be on the cards. Crystal Palace reportedly explored a deal for him in January, and their renewed interest is timely, especially as Marc Guehi’s future remains uncertain and the club has yet to replace Trevoh Chalobah after his loan ended.

No specific fee has been mentioned, but Juventus may be open to offers. For Djalo, the Premier League could offer the career reset he needs, and for Palace, he could become a key defensive asset heading into next season.
