Tottenham submit £50m bid for “fantastic” star as Levy receives a response.

As Thomas Frank prepares for his second signing at Tottenham following the arrival of Mathys Tel, the club has reportedly tabled a £50m bid for one of their key attacking targets.

Spurs Eye Kudus After Mbeumo Setback

Tottenham have been forced to explore alternative options after falling behind in the race to sign Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, with Manchester United leading the chase. Although Frank was keen on reuniting with his former player, Spurs have now turned their attention elsewhere, seeking to bolster their attacking line.

Concerns over Heung-min Son’s form and Dominic Solanke’s fitness issues have highlighted the need for fresh firepower. Names like Daizen Maeda and Evann Guessand have been floated, with Maeda impressing after a prolific spell at Celtic.

The Japan international scored 33 goals and provided 12 assists in 51 appearances last season, making him an intriguing candidate despite the jump in competition level from the Scottish Premiership.

Kudus the Priority for Spurs

However, Tottenham’s top target appears to be much closer to home. According to David Ornstein, Spurs have submitted a £50m bid for West Ham United’s Mohammed Kudus.

That offer was rejected, but Fabrizio Romano reports that Spurs are readying a second bid with manager Thomas Frank having already approved the move.

Kudus, despite West Ham’s struggles, stood out last season and received high praise from former Chelsea boss Graham Potter, who labelled him “fantastic.” With a fresh start under Frank, Kudus could be the creative spark Spurs need as they reshape their attack.

Tottenham now hope their next offer will convince West Ham to sell and bring Kudus to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
