Crystal Palace line up 36-year-old coach as potential Glasner replacement.

Crystal Palace are reportedly considering Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl as a possible replacement for Oliver Glasner, who is being linked with RB Leipzig, per Sky Sports Germany’s Philipp Hinze.

Fulham have reportedly joined the growing list of admirers for Danny Rohl, eyeing him as a potential replacement should Marco Silva depart the club.

Rohl, just 36, has drawn widespread praise for his impressive work at Sheffield Wednesday. Despite off-field turbulence, he guided the team to a respectable mid-table Championship finish, boosting his profile across English football. His contract reportedly includes a release clause in the low millions, making him a realistic option for Premier League clubs seeking fresh leadership.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, are facing their own managerial uncertainty. Oliver Glasner, who has steered the club to the FA Cup Final and is pushing for a top-half Premier League finish, is being courted by RB Leipzig. The German club is familiar territory for Glasner, given his prior Bundesliga experience.

Though Palace are actively working to extend Glasner’s stay, they are also bracing for a potential exit. Danny Rohl has emerged as a prime candidate to fill the void should Glasner move on.

Rohl’s credentials are hard to ignore. He has held key coaching roles at RB Leipzig, Southampton, Bayern Munich, and with the German national team. His blend of experience and tactical intelligence has reportedly attracted not only Palace and Fulham, but also recently relegated clubs like Leicester City and Southampton.

As summer nears, the managerial merry-go-round is gaining pace. While Palace remain focused on their FA Cup clash with Manchester City, uncertainty looms—not only over Glasner’s future, but also the potential exits of star players like Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi.
