Fulham Submit Six-Figure Offer for Wembley Final Star

Fulham have made a £1 million offer to sign Harvey Mills from Peterborough United.

Harvey Mills, just 19, etched his name into Peterborough United history with a stunning free-kick at Wembley. His goal sealed victory over League One champions Birmingham City in the Vertu Motors Trophy final—earning Posh their third title at the iconic stadium and extending their perfect Wembley record to five wins.

Fulham have now taken notice of the talented left-back, submitting a £1 million bid, according to *Football League World*. The Premier League side, who finished 11th after losing to Manchester City on the final day, are eager to add youthful talent to their ranks.

The Cottagers reportedly plan to place Mills in their under-23 squad, allowing him to develop in Premier League 2. Though a move to a Premier League club sounds attractive, Mills has recently broken into senior football at Peterborough, returning from a loan at Enfield and making 11 appearances this season, albeit mostly off the bench.

Peterborough, however, are undergoing a potential squad shake-up. Stars like Kwame Poku, Ricky-Jade Jones, and Hector Kyprianou are all set to leave, and Mills may see a greater first-team opportunity by staying put—at least for now.

Breaking into Fulham’s first team would be no small feat. Antonee Robinson, their current left-back, had an impressive season with 10 assists in 36 games and recently signed a new deal through 2028. Given Robinson’s form and future at the club, Mills would likely face limited senior opportunities.

Peterborough, known for developing and selling top talent like Ivan Toney, may not feel pressured to sell Mills immediately. If he stays and continues to develop, Fulham could return in a few years for a more seasoned version of the rising star.
