Crystal Palace Football Club has announced that American businessman Robert Wood Johnson, known as “Woody,” has signed a legally binding agreement to acquire Eagle Football’s ownership stake in the club. Johnson is also a co-owner of the New York Jets.
The deal is currently subject to approval from both the Premier League and the Women’s Super League. However, the club anticipates no issues and looks forward to officially welcoming Woody as a new partner and director.
The club also extended its gratitude to John Textor for his contributions over the last four years and wished him continued success in his future ventures.
