Alfredo Pedullà has revealed that Inter Milan are hesitant to pursue a deal for Jonathan David due to the striker’s high wage demands. The report, shared via his YouTube channel and relayed by *FCInter1908*, highlights financial concerns as a key stumbling block for the Italian club.
David, whose contract with Lille expires at the end of this month, is now free to negotiate with any club. The 25-year-old Canadian international has drawn strong interest from top clubs including Inter Milan, Napoli, and Juventus. However, Pedullà reports that despite being available on a free transfer, David’s salary expectations are proving too steep for Inter. His camp is reportedly asking for a €10 million sign-on bonus, along with a net annual salary of €7 million.
