Crystal Palace predicted to spend £115m on new signings to replace Eberechi Eze and Marc Guéhi this summer.
Crystal Palace may have lifted the FA Cup and secured European football for the first time, but a major summer rebuild still looms. With Marc Guéhi likely heading to Liverpool and Eberechi Eze attracting serious interest from Tottenham and Arsenal, Palace must nail their recruitment to maintain momentum.
Replacing those two stars will be no small task, but a recent AI-driven prediction offers a glimpse of what could lie ahead. The model predicts Palace will spend £50m of the Eze money on Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White—citing his similar playing profile and Europa League ambitions. While the price may be optimistic, his fit in Glasner’s system makes sense.
The AI also forecasts a £20m move for Lens midfielder Andy Diouf, whose ball-carrying ability and pressing fits well with Palace’s tactical style. Diouf is viewed as a higher-probability signing than Gibbs-White, given the difficulty of negotiating with Forest.
Defensively, the AI assumes Palace will land £50m for Guéhi and suggests they will move for Sporting’s Ousmane Diomande as a replacement. The 20-year-old Ivorian centre-back is expected to cost £40–50m, but the model sees the deal as feasible.
Another predicted target is Fulham’s left-back Antonee Robinson for around £35m. Despite some data errors, the logic behind the move is sound—Robinson is dynamic and led Premier League defenders in assists last season.
Two more exits are predicted: Odsonne Edouard, potentially heading to France for £5–10m, and Naouirou Ahamada, who could drop to the Championship for up to £8m. These moves would help offset spending.
Whether the AI model gets it right or not remains to be seen, but if this scenario plays out, Palace fans may be looking at a competitive squad capable of building on this year’s success.
