Tottenham and West Ham linked with £25m move for striker with 23 goal contributions.

West Ham and another Premier League club are making a move for a Ligue 1 striker previously linked with Tottenham over the past two months.

With Richarlison likely to leave Tottenham this summer, the club is expected to seek a new centre-forward to compete with Dominic Solanke. One of the names on their radar is Nice striker Evann Guessand, who impressed last season with 13 goals and 10 assists across all competitions.

Earlier reports indicated that Tottenham were plotting a move for the 23-year-old, while Galatasaray, managed by Jose Mourinho, had already submitted an offer. However, Guessand reportedly prefers a move to the Premier League over a switch to Turkey.

Now, both West Ham and Wolves have joined the race for the Ivorian striker. According to the *Daily Mail*, Wolves are preparing a bid, while West Ham — who had previously considered a move in January — are ready to return with renewed interest. Guessand is said to be high on West Ham boss Graham Potter’s wishlist, with Nice valuing the striker at around £20–£25 million.

Interestingly, Tottenham were not mentioned in the latest update, but West Ham’s push for Guessand could still impact their plans. In order to fund the transfer, West Ham may accelerate the sale of Mohammed Kudus — a player Tottenham have been eyeing.

Spurs have reportedly held internal talks about making a move for Kudus, though they would face stiff competition from Arsenal and Chelsea. The Ghanaian forward is currently valued at over £60 million by West Ham.
