Crystal Palace submit formal bid for £42.3m attacker with 14 goal contributions.

Crystal Palace are reportedly stepping up their pursuit of a new forward.

Crystal Palace have reportedly submitted a formal bid for a new attacker as they prepare for the possible departure of Eberechi Eze. Eze, who played a key role in Palace’s FA Cup triumph with the winning goal at Wembley, is attracting strong interest from top clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham.

The Eagles are facing a pivotal summer. With their FA Cup win securing European football for the first time in the club’s history, manager Oliver Glasner is keen to strengthen the squad for a demanding campaign across multiple competitions. However, that ambition is complicated by the potential exits of key players such as Eze and Marc Guehi.

To prepare for life after Eze, Palace have turned their attention to Bologna winger Dan Ndoye. According to Il Resto del Carlino, the club has made a formal offer for the 24-year-old, who is valued at £42.3 million and under contract until 2027. Ndoye, who can play both as a winger and a number 10, is seen as a strong replacement option.

The Switzerland international contributed nine goals and five assists in 41 appearances last season, helping Bologna finish ninth in Serie A. His consistent performances have caught attention across Europe, and Bologna are determined to demand a high fee amid widespread interest.

Speaking earlier this year, Ndoye described himself as a player who thrives under pressure and enjoys being decisive on the pitch. He emphasized the importance of both fun and responsibility in football, stating: “The most important thing for me is to play well, regardless of scoring points… every time I step onto the football pitch, I do it with a smile.”
