Galatasaray are reportedly preparing to negotiate with Brighton & Hove Albion for the loan signing of defender Ferdi Kadıoğlu, according to Turkish media.
Kadıoğlu joined Brighton last summer after a strong Euro 2024 campaign but struggled with injuries during his debut season. That setback saw him fall down the pecking order at the club, and Galatasaray now see an opportunity to revive his form.
Journalist Zeki Uzundurukan told Haber Sarikirmizi that contact has already been made with Brighton, and a meeting between the clubs is being arranged. Galatasaray are pushing for a loan deal, while former club Fenerbahce, previously linked, have not made a move.
Kadıoğlu, under contract with Brighton until 2028, featured in just eight games last season, scoring twice. Brighton now face a key decision about his future.
