Match Preview: Bournemouth vs Fulham

Strip everything back, and this match could be one of the defining moments of Fulham’s season.

Bournemouth are just three points behind in 10th place. A win would not only widen that gap to six but also keep us level in the chase with Aston Villa, who face Southampton. Given how tight the race for Europe is becoming, every point counts.

Despite their recent struggles—just two points from the last six games—Bournemouth have a knack for stepping up against Fulham. Historically, we’ve struggled at the Vitality Stadium, managing only one win there in the past three decades.

It seems unlikely Marco Silva will tinker with the team that stunned Liverpool last weekend. That means Ryan Sessegnon, who starred in that victory, should keep his place. If we’re to push on for European qualification, he could be key in these final fixtures.

Kenny Tete made a welcome return late on against Liverpool, but with Castagne performing well, he might have to settle for a spot on the bench again. Still, it would be encouraging to see Kenny build up his minutes.

Our alternating win-loss form doesn’t exactly inspire confidence, but if we’re to maintain momentum and keep climbing, this is a game we must win.
