Glasner provides update on Mateta and squad fitness ahead of Bournemouth clash.

Oliver Glasner expects to have a fully fit Crystal Palace squad available for their upcoming clash with Bournemouth, with no new injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s match at Selhurst Park.

In his pre-match press conference, Glasner stated: “No, all players are fit and available and ready to go.” This includes top scorer Jean-Philippe Mateta, who was recently substituted early in back-to-back matches.

Addressing Mateta’s recent early exits, Glasner explained that the striker had lost some rhythm after returning from injury. “He looked to get tired during the second-half [at Newcastle], that’s why we took him off,” said the manager. “At Manchester City, it was a tactical sub.”

He clarified that managing minutes played a major role in his decision-making, especially with a busy schedule ahead, including games against Bournemouth, Arsenal, and Aston Villa. Despite the rotations, Glasner confirmed: “He [Mateta] will start again tomorrow.”
