Former Georgia receivers Nitro Tuggle and Michael Jackson commit to Big Ten school.

Two former Georgia wide receivers, Nitro Tuggle and Michael Jackson, have committed to Purdue, continuing their college careers under Barry Odom and the Boilermakers.

Tuggle’s decision was first reported by On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Earlier this year, he faced misdemeanor charges for speeding and reckless driving, leading to an indefinite suspension by Georgia head coach Kirby Smart. On the field, Tuggle recorded 3 catches for 34 yards in his freshman season and was a 4-star recruit, ranked No. 102 in the 2024 class by 247Sports Composite.

Michael Jackson, a veteran who started his career at USC, had limited action at Georgia, catching just one pass for 10 yards before redshirting last season. His transfer was reported by 247Sports’ Chris Hummer and Matt Zenitz.

Georgia has since bolstered its receiving corps through the transfer portal, adding talents like Noah Thomas, Zachariah Branch, and Micah Bell during the winter window.
