The Giants made just one selection during Friday night’s portion of the 2025 NFL Draft, using the No. 65 overall pick in the third round to bring in Toledo defensive tackle Darius Alexander. Their draft journey started with a bang on Thursday, as they secured two major pieces — edge rusher Abdul Carter at No. 3 and quarterback Jaxson Dart at No. 25 — addressing two key areas of need right out of the gate.
Heading into Day 3, general manager Joe Schoen still holds four picks: one in the fourth round, another in the fifth, and two more in the seventh. Despite their strong start, the Giants have several remaining gaps to fill, particularly at offensive guard, where reinforcements are needed. Adding another wide receiver could also bolster their roster.
As the final day of the draft approaches, there are still several intriguing prospects available. At offensive guard, names to watch include Marcus Mbow from Purdue, Miles Frazier of LSU, Joe Huber from Wisconsin, Jalen Rivers out of Miami, Jackson Slater from Sacramento State, Joshua Gray of Oregon State, Garrett Dellinger from LSU, Clay Webb of Jacksonville State, Xavier Truss from Georgia, and Luke Kandra from Cincinnati.
For wide receiver targets, potential options include Jaylin Lane of Virginia Tech, Jalen Royals from Utah State, Isaiah Bond of Texas, Tory Horton from Colorado State, Elic Ayomanor out of Stanford, Tez Johnson from Oregon, Bru McCoy of Tennessee, Xavier Restrepo from Miami, Chimere Dike out of Florida, and Jordan Watkins from Ole Miss. These remaining prospects offer the Giants plenty of opportunities to strengthen their roster before the draft concludes.
