Portsmouth turned in a disappointing performance as they slumped to a 2-0 Championship defeat against Sheffield Wednesday at Fratton Park.
The visitors struck at the beginning of each half, with Barry Bannan opening the scoring before George Brown doubled the lead after the restart. Despite creating opportunities from set-pieces, John Mousinho’s side failed to capitalize, leaving them empty-handed on home soil.
